I will be starting a postdoc with Tom and Francis Gilbert in 2019. I am currently working as a Research Fellow at the School of Life Sciences, University of Nottingham, in Jan Bradley’s lab. Our group’s research focuses on the immunology of wild rodents and their response to infection over the course of their lifetime. I am particularly interested in possible host-based mechanisms mediating interactions among parasites.
More broadly, I am interested in variation among individuals in the wild, and the circumstances in which different strategies are favoured. Other work of mine has focused on Batesian mimicry, investigating how inaccurate mimics can persist when we would predict natural selection to favour the most convincing mimics.
